Test 3 - Patch Notes

Main Gameplay

  • Manual attacks have been replaced by auto attacks. Once a weapon is equipped, simply right click a target and you will automatically attack for weapon damage. Speed is determined by weapon.
  • Stamina and Medical Supplies
    • Stamina will drain over time and food replenishes Stamina. If stamina reaches 0, you will receive a massive debuff that will likely kill you if you engage in a fight.
    • First aid has been introduced as a more efficient means to heal between fights. Cast times are massive to demote the usage in combat.
    • Water has been introduced as an efficient means to recover mana. This also has a massive cast time to demote usage in combat. It will likely be tied to cooking in the future.
  • Classes
    • Acolyte - Acolytes are now in. Select the acolyte icon at start.
      • Full skill patch notes posted later.
    • Squire - Now start with a shield and spear as opposed to a two handed weapon.
      • Full skill patch notes posted later.
    • Archer - Now have access to a melee auto attack as a back up.
      • Full skill patch notes posted later.
  • Crafting/Gathering
    • ​Smithing - You can smelt Iron Ore and Copper Ore into bars at the smithy. Equipment creation temporarily on hold till 6/8/2019.
      • Buy a profession book from the smithing vendor. This will likely change to a quest line this week.
    • Mining - You can mine Copper Ore and Iron Ore throughout the land!
      • All classes start with mining currently.
    • First Phase is in. Second phase will add more layers and more professions.
  • Optimization
    • ​Astaria is now more GPU intense as opposed to CPU.
    • Memory usage has been reduced.
    • New frustrum culling enabled.
    • Many optimizations under the hood to increase performance.
  • Valerius Region Final
    • ​Test environment is now set to the actual Valerius Terrain Environment.
    • Meotr has a section walled off.
    • Meotr Mines is closed.
  • Quest
    • 2 Bounty quests have been added.
